Nancy Hubbard

A chapter in Acquisition, 1999, pp 255-258 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The five case studies offer some stark comparisons on how five different blue chip companies approached their acquisitions. In terms of the process described in this book, two were moderately successful in following it, two were unsuccessful and one only partially successful (see Table C.l). Both Anglo-American and Discovery followed the process well and had successful acquisitions; TeleCable Group followed the process the least and had their acquisition fail to achieve its full potential.
