Abstract:
Abstract The BCM group was a major supplier of materials to the building and construction industries. In 1968 the group’s turnover exceeded £50 million; approximately half of this amount was derived from foreign markets. Net assets (fixed assets plus working capital) of the group at the end of 1968 and net profit for that year were £60 million and £3.5 million respectively.
