Chapter 6 in The Economic Theory of the Working Class, 1979, pp 68-91 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract We must now examine the important economic categories of capitalist society in greater detail. In the next chapter we look at profits; here our subject is wages. The main question we must consider is one already touched upon in Section 2 of Chapter 4, how it is possible for real wages to rise at the same time as the rate of exploitation. But before this we must understand exactly what wages are and look at what is called the wage-form.
