Morgan Motor Company Ltd
Arthur Moore
Chapter 9 in The Small Business Casebook, 1979, pp 130-143 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In September 1976, Peter Morgan was optimistic about the future of the Morgan Motor Company Ltd. The company had been in the hands of his family since his father had founded it in 1910 with £3000 provided by his grandfather. Now it was producing 400 cars a year and had a full order book until 1979. The company was making profits and Peter Morgan was enjoying his business — what was there to worry about?
