Chapter 19 in The Professional Secretary’s Handbook, 1980, pp 206-215 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract When the management has built up a team of reliable, trained people it is worth taking the trouble to keep them; when employees are not happy they leave. To obtain long service and good results from its workforce a company should never allow job satisfaction and personal contentment with working conditions to be left to chance.
