Job Sharing: the Revolution for Women at Work
Penny Wightwick
Chapter 6 in Businesswoman, 1987, pp 110-129 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Jean Lammiman has shared her job at the Stock Exchange since 1981. She is one of the very few women in the private sector who has been able to share a job on an executive level in order to combine a career with bringing up young children. Job sharing has, however, developed considerably in the public sector during the past few years and has made a significant impact on the provision of equal opportunities for women in employment.
