Chapter 1 in On Keynes’s Method, 1988, pp 1-13 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The failure to acknowledge the existence of an autonomous methodological position underlying Keynes’s doctrines was possibly also due to a sort of unconscious attempt to facilitate the assimilation of Keynes’s doctrines into a methodological position which was not his own. In fact, the speed of the process of assimilation may have been largely due to the separation of his doctrines from his method.
