A chapter in The Economy of Ghana, 1989, pp 277-281 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In a work of contemporary nature such as the present one, a postscript is probably essential. Much has happened in Ghana since the first draft of the book was completed in September 1984. During the period 1983–86, the first phase (the stabilisation phase) of the Economic Recovery Programme (ERP I) was completed. Currently, the second phase (structural adjustment and development phase) of the programme (ERP II) is being implemented over the three-year period 1987–89.
