Abstract The MFA is an international agreement reached by the major textile importing and exporting countries on textile trade under the auspices of GATT. The Arrangement involves many matters and this chapter does not touch on all of them; the focus will be on the Arrangement’s implications for developing countries, with particular reference to China.
