Abstract:
Abstract Since Goldfeld’s (1973. 1976) case of the missing money, the demand for money has again become a cornerstone in applied and theoretical economics. Immediately after the Goldfeld papers a huge bulk of empirical studies investigating the stability of the demand for money for various countries and different time periods have been performed.1
