Chapter 9 in Market Forces and World Development, 1994, pp 160-185 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract ‘Development ethics’ is attracting increasing attention. An association has existed since 1984 which now uses the acronym IDEA (International Development Ethics Association). Already fairly well established in the Americas, it is extending more widely. IDEA’s president recently published a survey article in ‘World Development’ (Crocker, 1991a), citing a notable number of relevant publications.
