Chapter 3 in Public Goods, Public Enterprise, Public Choice, 1994, pp 54-79 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Mixed economies need both public and market goods. The amount and kind of public goods have to be determined by political choice. This chapter argues that those choices are not likely to be improved by the use or the common misuses of public goods theory or social choice theory.
