The Setting of the Decline
Michael Perelman
Chapter 1 in The Pathology of the U.S. Economy, 1996, pp 1-29 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This book tells the story of the deterioration of the U.S. economy. In this work, I contend that the difficulties that the U.S. economy faces today reflect long-term problems that have been festering for many decades. We cannot remedy these ills by short-term policy adjustments.
