Chapter 10 in European Monetary Union: The Kingsdown Enquiry, 1996, pp 51-53 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The enquiry was launched with an introductory meeting, so as to take a general overview of the subject. The primary purpose of this session was in some sense to examine the general validity of the questions underlying the whole investigation: is a monetary union likely to be formed in Europe, and if so, what are the broad considerations that could affect the outcome?
