M. K. Bhagavan
Chapter 16 in New Generic Technologies in Developing Countries, 1997, pp 297-319 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract We will begin this concluding section with a discussion of the issues that have arisen in the case of biotechnology, for it exemplifies many of the significant questions that have been raised in the debate over new generic technologies. We will then move on to present a number of issues that relate not only to information and communication technology and new materials technology per se but also to the environmental, economic and social contexts in which new generic technologies operate.
