Abstract: Abstract This book analyses forms of technological capabilities (TCs) and their acquisition by developing countries on the premise that the acquisition and development of these capabilities is a necessary condition for the efficient use of industrial technology. It focuses on the case of industrial biotechnology in Mexico.
