Abstract:
Abstract East and South-East Asia (ESEA) is the most populous of the regions into which the contemporary world economy is typically classified. In recent decades this has also been the most dynamic region of the world economy. This chapter analyses the performance of the region during the accelerated globalization of the world economy that has taken place since the beginning of the 1980s.
