Abstract:
Abstract Since the 1970s, ‘women’ has become a focal subject in development theory and practice. The discussion on the role of women in development is controversial not only in international development organizations, non-governmental and governmental organizations, but also within the women’s movement itself. The debate touches the basis of gender diversity and thus tends to be overloaded with ideologies.
