Conclusion: The Next Millennium
Michael Hopkins
Chapter 11 in The Planetary Bargain, 1999, pp 191-196 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The future within which companies will operate will be entirely different from what we see today. This future will be created partly by the private sector, and, increasingly, by the visions that socially responsible companies have and will have. The future is not just being created by enterprises, although these are having a bigger influence than ever before. Think-tanks, universities, governments, NGOs, communities and inspired individuals all play their part. Reflections on this future here are, of course, pure speculation based on perceived trends of the moment.
