Chapter 9 in Intra-Industry Trade and Adjustment, 1999, pp 168-187 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Greece formally joined the European Union (EU) in January 1981, and as one would expect, given the small size of Greece relative to that of the EU, this development has had a major influence on both Greece’s structure of production and of international trade. The purpose of this chapter is to study the structure of international trade of Greece, with special emphasis on intra-industry trade (IIT), and to analyse industrial adjustment, especially as it relates to trade performance, in the post accession period.
