Epilogue
David Cobham
Chapter 12 in From EMS to EMU: 1979 to 1999 and Beyond, 1999, pp 284-291 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract My co-editor, George Zis, looked back to the start of the EMS twenty years ago in Chapter 3. In this short epilogue I shall look forward to the prospects for EMU as from its first year of operation, and argue that there are substantial grounds for optimism even though, as always, some things might have been better done differently.
