David Rogers
Chapter Chapter 3 in The Big Four British Banks, 1999, pp 27-41 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:

Many reflected the blurring of boundaries across financial services sectors. This chapter highlights those events in encapsulating the industry’s main trends in recent decades.
