Epilogue

Chapter 9 in Business-Driven Research and Development, 1999, pp 179-188 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract I propose to conclude the text by briefly referring to some recent publications which underscore what this book on business-driven R&D is all about. That R&D has emerged in the 1990s to occupy an important place in the centre stage of business and commerce as the key driver for wealth creation is now beyond debate. R&D in industry will be at the core of all enterprises which will be the key players in the new millennium.
