Science and Technology for Developing Countries
D. John Shaw
Chapter 18 in Sir Hans Singer, 2002, pp 174-179 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Singer stressed the importance of science and technology for development as one of the policy outcomes of his work on the terms of trade (see Chapter 11). He saw this not only as an external factor but also an internal one in the development equation, which has remained a primary concern for him.
