Chapter 9 in Technology Intelligence, 2004, pp 261-264 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This book has shown how technology-based SMEs could be organized to take advantage of relevant information about technological facts and trends in the company’s environment. The pertinent question was: “How could a technology-based SME design and implement a Technology Intelligence system?” The practitioner’s voice and the analysis of the state-of-the-art in Technology Intelligence literature revealed the absence of an answer to this questions and therefore showed gaps which this book aims to fill.
