Chapter Chapter 10 in Journey to Lean, 2004, pp 169-187 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Many businesses are capable of running a successful pilot. The real challenge comes when they try to extend this success to the rest of their operations. Though Arboria has made a good job of implementing the pilot in its UK plant, its journey has only just begun. The hardest part still lies ahead: embedding change so that lean becomes a way of life, not just another initiative.
