Chapter Chapter 7 in Crises and Transformation in the Mediterranean World, 2023, pp 269-344 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract This chapter aims to analyse the causes, buffers and consequences of the great depressions experienced by Catalonia in the 100-year period between the outbreak of the Great War and the crisis of the euro. The interval can be considered as that of the emergence and decline of the second industrial revolution.
