Impact and Communication
Judy Stephenson
Chapter 39 in An Economist’s Guide to Economic History, 2018, pp 341-346 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Impact is the difference a piece of research makes to the theory and practice of an academic discipline. The potential for impact in economic history is broad because it deals with big questions that are at the forefront of social science and political economy. This chapter sets out how readers can plan their pathways to impact through effective communication.
