Further Roles of the State
Violaine Cousin
Chapter 4 in Banking in China, 2011, pp 50-55 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract While it may be surprising to western eyes that the state and the Communist Party are to be considered as one in the present book, in the context of China it makes sense as the structures of the Party and of the state run in parallel from top to bottom and the Party permeates all state activities, even though it is not always mentioned as such.
