Chapter 6 in Cloud Computing in Financial Services, 2013, pp 166-180 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract This chapter presents a business case, describing cloud computing for the Gruppo Banca Intesa Sanpaolo. The aims are to address the questions of whether cloud computing is a model suited to financial institutions, and whether it can bring benefits or not; also to present a possible introductory route. Apart from the technology solution, the case is interesting in that it shows a route towards the cloud computing model.
