Chapter Chapter 6 in Banking Business Models, 2019, pp 67-78 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The bank business models analysis complements the traditional ownership, organisational structures and size analyses. This chapter examines the interaction between business models, ownership and organisational structures in banks in Europe on the one hand and the interaction between business models and size in banks in the US on the other hand. In Europe, there is a large diversity in ownership structures. In the US, size has been a key dimension to categorise banks.
