Abstract:
Abstract Digitalization of business has become a powerful tool for increasing efficiency for large companies. It has allowed to increase the speed and effectiveness of decision-making. However, digital technologies were introduced, first of all, in large business. But the current stage of digital technology development is changing the situation; more and more small and medium enterprises are beginning to use modern digital tools. Thus, the aim of the research is to study the main aspects of digital transformation in small and medium enterprises (SME) and to determine its impact on the innovative development and competitiveness of SME. The authors draw attention to the study of digital transformation of SME in high-tech industries in Russia, as today they can become its locomotives of national economic growth.
