Chapter 11 in Business Under Crisis Volume I, 2022, pp 223-246 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The SARS-CoV2 pandemic has generated disruptive behaviours with domino outcomes for the Romanian healthcare sector, medical affairs and people’s life. The disruptive downfalls have come out with unknown effects on the long-run. To get them away, structural transformations are awaited as a resilient solution. Using examples from the medical market and the clinic of proximity model, we show that the recovery grows through grounded and fair interconnections between priorities, digitisation and personalised medicine. They empower transformation and increase efficiency encapsulating performance through top-quality medical services as part of a national strategy of development. General satisfaction comes along with profit if based on the respect of law and the medical act’s high reputation. Thenceforth, resilience will spring for both the medical market and the society development.
