Abstract: Abstract This exploratory study critically examines the intricate role of governmental entities in the implementation of tourism carrying capacity strategies, with a focal point on stakeholder engagement dynamics. In light of the imperative to manage tourism growth sustainably, this research endeavors to uncover the complex interplay between visitor demands and environmental and socio-cultural considerations. Employing an exploratory approach, the study delves into the collaborative efforts among diverse stakeholders, including governmental agencies, local communities, tourism operators, and environmental advocacy groups, in formulating and executing carrying capacity measures. Through empirical inquiry and comprehensive case analyses, this abstract investigates the challenges, opportunities, and optimal practices associated with stakeholder involvement in achieving sustainable tourism development objectives. The findings provide nuanced insights into the multifaceted landscape of tourism carrying capacity management, offering valuable guidance for policymakers, practitioners, and scholars seeking to advance sustainable tourism paradigms.
