Abstract: Abstract This study explores how ICT, specifically mobile applications, can enrich cultural and heritage tourism experiences, focusing on the Dourb’ia app. Using a qualitative approach, seven experts in IT and cultural heritage tourism were interviewed to examine the significance of archaeological sites, the impact of Dourb’ia on tourism, and ways to enhance visitor experiences. Findings reveal that post-health crisis, visits to archaeological sites have decreased in both quality and frequency. “Dourb’ia” promotes heritage tourism by reviving site visits, engaging tour guides, and attracting new audiences. Experts recommend developing more engaging content, including remote guided tours, and addressing challenges like accessibility and user interface issues. Practical recommendations include intuitive design, strong data security, and active involvement of guides. This study highlights the potential of digital tools for sustainable tourism, showcasing how mobile applications can drive cultural and economic revitalization.
