Chapter 9 in Rosa Luxemburg, 2014, pp 131-142 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Rudolf Hilferding entered the history of economic thought in the first place as the author of Finance Capital.1 In the general issues of economic theory, he regarded himself as Marx’s faithful student and popularizer. Marx’s Capital contained, in his view, a classical, comprehensive analysis of traditional capitalism, which should be complemented with the analysis of new phenomena stemming from the expansion of capitalist organizations.
