Chapter Chapter 1 in Twelve Figures in Swedish Economics, 2022, pp 1-34 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Far too many of my younger economists have a static view of our profession. The only publications that count are the contemporary ones. Anyone who reads an article (books are not read, since they don’t count) more than five years old is out of his mind, and those relatives of Gerontius who delve into works from the twentieth century should be sent to the nuthouse as quickly as possible.
