Chapter Chapter 9 in Twelve Figures in Swedish Economics, 2022, pp 277-363 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Bo Södersten was born in Grängesberg in Dalarna in 1931, as the youngest of eight brothers and sisters. His father worked in the iron mine there. He was a trade union leader and a convinced Social Democrat. Bo was lucky, because unlike the other children he was given an opportunity to study. He graduated from high school in Ludvika in 1951, with top marks.
