Chapter Chapter 16 in Bo Södersten from Left to Right, 2022, pp 119-123 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter deals with two of the most controversial issues that figure in Bo Södersten’s writings for daily newspapers: immigration and the welfare state. Sweden was receiving too many immigrants, and immigrants that could not support themselves but who had to be paid for by the taxpayers. The welfare system, in turn, was too generous. It was far too easy for people to qualify for subsidies, which in turn led to abuses.
