Abstract: Abstract The chapter tries to arrive at a characterization of the person Bo Södersten. It deals with the family man, the student teacher and supervisor, the academic writer, the politician, and the debater/provocateur. It also stresses the intellectual and cultural side of Bo Södersten, as well as his sybaritic interests and poses the question of what motivated him in life.
