Abstract: Abstract The chapter presents the justification of the research problem and the research gap. The chapter describes the importance of the fuzzy approach for researching sustainable business models. In particular, attention was drawn to the need for a fuzzy approach to study financial phenomena with undefined or fuzzy parameters. The chapter also contains information about the content and problems discussed in individual chapters.
