Abstract:
Abstract Insurance 4.0 is not only part of the industry 4.0 model. It has value in itself as a way to innovate the business models of insurance. This chapter presents the history of the development of insurance over time, revolutionizing together with the changes in the industrial and social world. The chapter presents an integrated model for industry 4.0 and insurance 4.0 and details all their components. The model includes eight factors. It is critical to understand and make better use of insurance 4.0 for the organization’s real innovation. This chapter also analyzes the challenges, opportunities, and benefits of insurance 4.0.
