Chapter Chapter 9 in Banking 5.0, 2021, pp 303-325 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Banking 5.0 is not only a technological platform transformation. It is a business model transformation. The business model canvas has several components. All of them are essential to go through a banking 5.0 transformation. Among all the components, processes are at the very base of banking 5.0. Their banking 5.0 transformation is a critical success factor. This chapter supplies guidelines on processes to support banking 5.0. It underlines a straightforward way capable of linking financial institutions processes with their goals. This chapter considers some of the more critical processes, such as onboarding. This chapter deals with the necessary banking processes: save, transfer, and supply credit. There is a need for a method to manage the process of banking 5.0 transformation. This method, in the case of banking 5.0, is design thinking. Design thinking couples well with the lean and digitize method. This chapter presents both methods and their applications in banking 5.0.
