Abstract:
Abstract The transformation of society and the economic conditions in Sweden during the studied period is outlined in this chapter in a brief form. It explains how the economic growth during a period of agrarian, political and industrial revolutions increased the demand for capital as well as the need for a financial system that works efficiently and effectively.
