Abstract:
Abstract This chapter explores social policy in Chile, within the context of the UNRISD project ‘Social Policy in a Development Context’. The chapter tries to address the project’s general questions about the relation between social policy, economic development, and democracy, in the context of the historical evolution of social policies in Chile.
