Abstract:
The driving forces of the late 20th Century: the evolution of ICT and the globalization of the world market affected the relationship of the companies, evolved the system of supply chains (SC), the newest structure of material and information flows among firms and any other organizations. The new structure needs a adequate management style and information supply system. The adequate management methodes and tools based ont he supply chain oriented management approach is the SCM. The SCM as a method is a intermediate state of the market driven transactions and the strict hierarchical control. From information supply point of view the SCM requires a inter-organizaions integration among the SC members, which is more then a technical problem, and so the Internet is only a tool to satisfy information needs. SCM has to have an adequate information supply system which is one of main task of future development of ICT. Key words: supply chain, supply chain management, komplex adaptív rendszer, kooperatív rendszer, ICT
