Abstract: In der Umfrage wurde die Antwort gesucht, wie die Unternehmen ihre Situation im Vergleich zu den Konkurrenten sehen. Die Fragestellungen über das Prinzip Benchmarking richteten sich auf die Marktposition, und –aktivität, Technisches Umfeld, Organisations- und Managementtätigkeit und auf Wirtschaftslage und betriebswirtschaftliche Fragen. In jedem Themenbereich gab es Stärken und Schwächen, und aus den Stärken und Schwächen konnte man auf die Möglichkeiten und auf die Gefahren folgern.
