Abstract:
The aim of this article is to formulate an answer to the following question: which factors strengthen inter-sectoral cooperation and its significance in regional development? Due to the significant breadth and variety of forms of inter-sectoral cooperation, in this article an analysis was carried out primarily of the functioning of clusters in Poland. The main conlusion is, that the growth of cluster significance in regional development in Poland have no chance of being realised without the support of public funding both on a centralised and on a regional level.
