Abstract: The aim of the paper is to explore stakeholder orientations of companies operating in the Hungarian context. By doing so we are looking at the interrelationship of attention paid to stakeholders and the business performance of surveyed companies. Findings of the empirical study are then discussed in an educational context: based on the current management practices what business educators may learn in order to contribute to stakeholder orientations of the next generations of business decision makers.
