Measuring Farm Efficiency: A Frontier Production Function Approach (Third Edition)
Soekartawi
in Monograph from Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA)
Abstract:
This publication shows a technique developed by the author to measure individual efficiency using the Cobb-Douglas frontier production function. The technique enables the exploration of the characteristics of individual farms, and provides results that may be more useful for extension workers and researchers. It may be used to test whether or not farmers implement sustainable farming practices.
